Irregular patterning and designs are imbued with traditional Berber motifs that symbolise themes like fertility, marriage, and rural family life. This unique piece is handmade by women in a small region of Haouz, Morocco between the Middle Atlas and the Atlantic ocean. Boujaad rugs are handwoven pile rugs made from natural soft wool fibers using vegetable dyes to create this beautiful combination shades of red, pink, purple, yellow and brown.
