Product Care
- The pile on your rug may be flat when it arrives at your door due to tight packaging and transportation. As soon as you can, take the rug outside and give it a little bit of shake in the sun.
- Vacuum gently and frequently using suction only to remove loose soil and debris.
- Always clean spills immediately to prevent stains, and ensure never to rub the pile surface. Blot wet spills with absorbent cloth or paper towel.
- Some stains may be cleaned with mild detergent and cold water. Be careful not to use too much water when cleaning wool rugs as it can lead to mildew. If stain cannot be removed, seek specialist cleaning advice.
- Rugs made of wool will shed, this will reduce over time with regular vacuuming.
- All vintage rugs have been professionally cleaned and repaired (when needed) prior to delivery to your home, ready for use. However, it may retain some fine grains of desert sand where these rugs were placed in some remote areas. There may also be some loose fibres due to the recent clean, which will reduce with regular vacuuming.
