- We will process your purchases within 3 business days. Depending on your location, delivery may take 1-3 days if you are in Perth metro areas, and up to 10-14 days if you are located outside of Western Australia or in remote regional areas.
- I’m not in Australia, do you ship internationally?
- No. Unfortunately at this time we only deliver to locations within Australia.
- Can I return my rug if I change my mind?
- Full refund can only be provided if the product qualifies under our warranty policy, and it does not cover ‘change of mind’. To give you full confidence in purchasing our product, email us and we can provide you with further information and photos from various angles and lighting.
- I have seen cheaper reproduction of your rugs, why should I buy from you?
- Adamas Lux takes pride in supplying only the finest quality rugs. When you buy rugs from us, you are buying authentic handmade artwork made by skilled artisan often in their home villages, tribes or cities using traditional techniques that have spanned over decades. The price tag reflects the enormous effort involved in making each rug. Unlike the mass-produced machine-made counterpart, our handmade rugs are individually crafted down to the very last detail where no two rugs are identical. You will own a one of a kind rug that will last you a life time. Nothing can beat the quality and value of a genuine handcrafted rug.
- My wool rug is shedding a lot of fluff, is this normal?
- Yes. Wool is a natural fibre and therefore will malt, however, this will lessen over time with regular vacuuming.
- Why is my rug not perfectly symmetrical?
- You will notice that the rugs may be uneven in the edges, not perfectly straight or slightly asymmetrical. This is because Adamas Lux rugs are not mass produced by machine, but each is constructed by hand, often in the village homes or tribal tents of the weaver for their personal use. The ‘imperfection’ is what makes them unique and highly desirable. Even the best skilled artisan weavers will have the occasional ‘mistakes’, and it’s this organic human touch that gives our rugs a sense of personality, individuality and history.
- Why does my vintage rug have signs of wear and tear?
- Our vintage rugs are 40 to over 100 years old and some may have been used by the artisan themselves and therefore it is expected that some discolouration, repaired tears, small holes, fading, fraying and wear will be present. This is not considered as ‘fault’ but part of the beauty of aged vintage handmade rugs.
- Can I order custom made rugs?
- In short – No, this is because when you choose Adamas Lux, you will not only be buying beautiful rugs but also our expertise in curating the finest designs, materials and rug construction which are carefully selected from various parts of Morocco, Turkey and India to form a collection that perfectly balance tradition and contemporary. Having said that, if you have a particular design, size and colour scheme in mind, please email us and we will make it our mission to find you ‘the one’.
- I would love to see the rugs in person, do you have a showroom I can visit?
- We are currently 100% online, with pop up shop set up from time to time. Stay in touch with us for location and date.
