Adamas Lux is a fully online store based in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in high quality authentic tribal and village handmade rugs from Morocco, Turkey and India.

The name “Adámas” is an ancient Greek word which means diamond (unconquerable & invincible), and just like diamonds, here at Adamas Lux we appreciate the ageless beauty and individuality of each handmade rug that we have carefully curated from various parts of the globe. We care about continuing the invaluable art of traditional rug making, which otherwise would be forgotten in this modern world.

When you shop with us, you are not buying mass produced industrialised rugs. What you get from Adamas Lux is genuine high quality artisan rugs that carry stories and tradition in which no two rugs are identical. The price tag attached to each rug reflects the enormous effort involved in the painstakingly long process of rug handmaking that started with transforming fibres into yarn and continue on to washing, dying, hand knotting/ weaving, trimming, printing and finally applying final touches and cleaning – now ready for use.
